Today Jonathan turned seven years old and to celebrate we went to Buck Island and then to the Lost Dog for pizza. Carmen gave Jonathan two cars and Matt gave him a Bakugan set. Yesterday I purchased a new diving mask and fins that cover the entire foot for him. Today on Buck Island he swam like a fish! He can dive down about six feet and clear his snorkel like a real pro. This little boy is growing up!

We didn't see any turtles, sharks, or large barracuda at Buck Island. I did see a large French angelfish outside the reef that was about 40 cm long. As usual there were lots of parrot fish, grunts, surgeon fish, tang, etc. We chased a small barracuda (50 cm) until he tried of playing with us and with a swish of his tail almost disappeared.

We stopped at Steele's Smokes and Sweets in Christiansted and purchased some chocolate for his birthday and a box of assorted chocolates to take to Mike and Maggie's house tomorrow for Thanksgiving.
