A week gone already!

Updating the blog after a week has gone by. The traps for the mice and the rats by the refuge have not been catching anything recently. I did catch three hermit crabs this sunday morning for the last day in the woods by the refuge. The next few days will be out in the open grass near the refuge and see if there is any luck there. Then finally put the data in the computer.
We did get to go to buck island and swim around the reef which was awesome. Swam with big parrot fish which we also had to eat before and were very good. Got to see a sea turtle and swim in some of the big waves which was a whole new snorkeling experience that I enjoyed. Didnt get to see the shark sadly but did see the video Matt took.
Also enjoyed the town with the shops. Got one of the hook bracelets from sonya ltd which is nice and some other souvenirs. Had some really good iced coffee too in the coffee shop next to the jewelry shop which was voted best of the virgin islands.
Went night snorkeling as well which was awesome to try out and see some cool stuff. Didnt see the sea horses sadly but it was a nice trip to take out in the night. Now really looking forward to going to the rum factory since cruzan rum is amazing and seeing what kind of data I can get for the mice and rats in the next few days.
