April 2014 Trapping Results

We set out 20 traps on Thursday afternoon 17 April baited with chicken wings instead of our traditional chicken feet. Each morning between 10:00 and noon we collected the traps with animals and replaced them with freshly baited traps. All traps had missing bait each day so fresh chicken wings were added to each trap. Animals were transported back to our make-shift lab at Cottages By The Sea and processed. Animals were released at the site of capture each afternoon after they had recovered sufficiently from the anesthesia. The following is a summary of our trapping results and all data are attached to this page as .xlsx and .csv files.
