So I'm leaving for St. Croix in less than 35 hours. I'm really excited as this will be my first trip to the Caribbean. I've spent most of today getting ready; I'm mostly packed and ready to go. Yesterday Annie, my girlfriend, and I went shopping to find suitable field clothes. We bought several pairs of pants and shirts. Hopefully these will be light enough so that I don't melt while we are outside. I'm constantly running items through my head making sure I've got them. As I type, it occurs to me that I almost forgot a water bottle.
